Duet Dispatch: Winning Facility Contracts
An AI pilot opportunity, practical tips to win facility contracts, and how to start doing stretcher trips
🤖 Voice AI
We’re excited to announce that Duet is starting pilots of our new voice AI! This should free up hours of time plus avoid lost revenue from missed calls. We’re incredibly picky about call quality, because how you answer the phone is how people see your business. But we’re satisfied the tech is now comparable to human quality.
We’ll be rolling out:
1) Outbound calls for pickup confirmation
2) Inbound Q&A calls (e.g., ETA of a driver, whether you accept insurance)
3) Inbound booking calls
We’re looking for a few services interested in a free 3 month pilot (Dec 2025 - Feb 2026). Please reach out to [email protected] if interested.

TTA Mobilize Conference

Elvis stopped by the Duet booth at TTA
My cofounder Jing and I had a great time meeting many of you (and Elvis) in Vegas! For those of you that didn’t make it this year, this was the 107th(!) annual Transportation Alliance conference. TTA historically focused on taxis, black cars, etc., but with the rise of Uber and Lyft times have changed. One veteran told me “every taxi company outside NYC has either gotten into NEMT or gone out of business.” It’s worth attending even for pure NEMT services.
How to Win NEMT Facility Contracts - Podcast
I was lucky enough to get Antonio Jackson from TCServices4U2 on to discuss how he closes so many facility contracts. I learned a ton, including:
Short-term rehab facilities have a steady stream of new patients you can impress with good service and convert into long-term private pay customers by the time they leave rehab
Bring the case manager at your local hospital a big box of cookies and jug of coffee, and let them share it with the nursing staff - they’ll appreciate the gesture and also that you’re clearly active in their area and able to take trips
Whenever you or your dispatcher has downtime, call up a facility near one of your available vehicles and say “hey you got anything pending? I have somebody that can be there in a few minutes”
Seriously, this is one of the most informative podcasts I’ve ever hosted. Listen to Tony below:

The EASIEST Way to Cash In on Stretcher Trips - Live Podcast at 3pm ET / Noon PT, Thu Nov 20
I’m thrilled to be interviewing Ed Bandas - the top expert on the Broda Traversa chair. We’ll cover how services can use it to start doing stretcher trips and more:
How the Traversa chair switches between wheelchair and stretcher
Impact on passenger comfort and safety
How it can be used in states with or without NEMT stretcher trips
Practical success stories (and challenges!)
Many of you may have seen the Broda chair at trade shows like TTA and NEMTAC - now’s your chance to ask Ed to go into detail about your specific state and needs!
